I'm selling products on the Internet that I've never
even seen, don't have to package, and don't have to know a great
deal about.
It took one day
to get my business name, one hour to get my Tax Id Number, two
emails to setup my dropshipper account with my manufacturer, minutes
to get a seller account on Ebay, and then it happened....
It's true friends, that's why so many more of those
late night television ads are mentioning the word dropship nowadays.
Literally, there are manufacturers, store owners, distributors out
there that want to sell their products. Why else would they be in
business??
So why do these manufacturers dropship?? Wouldn't
it be better to just sell the products at the retail price
themselves?? Of course every business owner wants to sell all of
their products, but it's not going to happen, especially if they
only have one brick and mortar store or one website, that's where
you come in.
The dropshippers that I deal with love
the fact that I'm selling their products for them. One, they're
still making a decent profit even by selling to me at a wholesale
manufacturer's price. Their inventory is moving and the more
dropshippers they have, the more they sell, the more money they
make, and the more money I make. Simple as that!!!
So how
does it work on your end?? You sell the products you dropship
at the regular, marked up retail price. Then, after a purchase, you
pay the dropshipper the reduced (wholesale) price that they charge
you and the shipping price. Your resale price minus the price they
charge you for wholesale equals = $$$$. PROFIT!!!
